Challenge
The decentralized finance ecosystem has been historically inaccessible to non-smart contract tokens, limiting their utility and value within the rapidly evolving DeFi space. Flare Labs sought a solution that would enable these assets to interact trustlessly with smart contracts while ensuring high levels of security, scalability, and user-friendliness. The primary challenge was to create an ecosystem where non-smart contract tokens could seamlessly participate in DeFi without compromising their decentralized nature.
Solution
Our team collaborated with Flare Labs to develop the web application for the FAsset system, a groundbreaking innovation enabling non-smart contract tokens to be minted and redeemed as ERC-20 tokens on the Flare network. The solution includes:
- Dynamic Dashboards: Real-time insights into network activity, circulating supply, and total values locked in top pools over a selected period.
- Minting and Redeeming Mechanisms: A user-friendly interface to convert non-smart contract tokens into FAssets and vice versa.
- Pool Management Features: Comprehensive tools for deposits and withdrawals, ensuring seamless asset management.
The application was built using PostgreSQL for robust data management, while Next.js and React.js powered the backend and frontend, delivering a responsive and secure user experience.
